Kwaito emerged in the late 80s to represent the dance sound of freedom in post-apartheid South Africa, laying the foundations for today’s Gqom and Amapiano.

Patience Pearl presents two mixes:

- And its accompanying ‘Kwaito Memories’ mix, a 1h show collecting the experiences and memories of four South Africans connected to the scene who came of age in the time of kwaito.
